Writing Bio

Heather Sage Church spent ten years as a high-level project manager and technical writer for county government where she developed and wrote policy, procedure, curriculum and website content before becoming a freelance writer, social media marketer, content strategist, WordPress developer and editor for a variety of industries. Now with two decades of digital media experience, she’s the Director of Communication & Digital Marketing for one of the six JobsOhio network partners. Heather continues to take on small freelance projects in the yoga, health and wellness industries.

Yoga Bio

Heather is certified in Integrative Hatha Yoga from Samyoga Institute, and teaches from this perspective, as well as incorporating Vinyasa, EmbodiYoga, Yin, and Restorative. She is accredited by the National Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200, as well as a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). Humbled and grateful for her journey thus far, she is forever a student. Since graduating from her first yoga teacher training, she’s gained certification and/or taken courses in Vinyasa, Pranayama, Yoga Anatomy, Prenatal, Yin, Restorative, Somatic Meditation, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, the Yoga Sutras, Yoga for Athletes, Storytime Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage and EmbodiYoga. Heather is an Adjunct Faculty Member of Ohio University-Lancaster where she teaches yoga through the Physical Education Department.
